Editorial Policy

Cleats Report helps players, parents and coaches choose the right cleats by sport, playing surface, position and budget. This page explains how our reviews and buying guides are put together, how the site is funded, and who writes for it.

How we create our content

Our reviews and buying guides are based on research: manufacturer specifications, product details, and customer reviews from major retailers. We compare these sources to explain who each product suits, what it does well, and where it falls short.

We do not claim hands-on testing of a product unless a review says so explicitly.

Affiliate links and independence

Some links on Cleats Report are affiliate links (for example Walmart, Impact and Awin). If you buy through one of them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not change the price you pay, and they are not a reason to say a product is better than it is. See also our Disclaimer.

Updates and corrections

Products, prices and availability change, so we update articles from time to time. If you notice an error or outdated information, please contact us and we will correct it.
